Solar panels

In December 2024, solar panels were installed on the roof of the Sammy Logistics Center. These panels were introduced based on the SEGA SAMMY Group's GHG emissions reduction action "SEGASAMMY Colorful Carbon Zero" concept, and power is transmitted from the roof of the Sammy Logistics Center to the Kawagoe Factory, where it is used as part of the electricity used by the Kawagoe Factory.

Installation of Instant demand control units

The Kawagoe Factory has installed instant demand control units to cut peak power consumption and save energy, thereby reducing electricity costs. By reducing electricity consumption, the Kawagoe Factory is contributing to the reduction of environmental burden.

Recycling of packaging materials

The packaging film used to prevent cargo collapse is sorted and collected, being switched to recycled products by specialized companies, and those recycled products are purchased and reused to realize recycling in a circular manner. This is Sammy's effort to achieve "net zero emissions" by reducing emissions of greenhouse gases that cause global warming and by collecting the carbon dioxide emitted.
