Privacy Statement (Policy with Respect to the Protection of Personal Information)
Sammy Corporation (hereafter referred to as "the Company") recognizes the importance of protecting personal information, and is committed to protecting personal information in accordance with the policy outlined below.
1. Personal Information Covered by this Privacy Statement
This privacy statement defines our policy with respect to the handling of personal information collected directly or indirectly by the Company.
2. Collection of Personal Information
The Company shall collect personal information through legal and fair means.
3. Use of Personal Information
The Company shall limit the usage of personal information to the extent that is required for the conducting of business operations, and only for the purposes shown when the information was collected.
 
When personal information is registered on a database and shared with a third party, the Company shall appoint an administrator after clearly specifying who will use the data, what data shall be used, and the purposes for which the data may be used. Moreover, these points, along with the information that the data will be shared, will be posted in advance on the Company's website in clear, easy-to-understand terms.

Except when otherwise specified by law, the Company shall not share personal information with a third party without the permission of the individual himself/herself.
5. Control of Personal Information
The Company shall preserve the accuracy of personal information and manage its safe keeping.
 
The Company shall not permit the transfer of personal information outside the company by its employees (which includes all directors, staff, and contracted and part-time employees; the same applies to all references to "employees" hereinafter); and the leakage of personal information via e-mail, illegal copying and the like shall not be permitted.
 
In order to prevent the loss, destruction, alteration or leakage of personal information, the Company shall impose restrictions and controls on access to personal information, controls on access to departments involved in the handling of personal information, measures to prevent illegal access and viruses, and appropriate data security measures.
 
If the handling of personal information is commissioned to a third party, the Company shall subject the third party to rigorous inspection and application procedures, and impose the appropriate controls to ensure the maintenance of confidentiality.
6. Release, Revision, Elimination and Discontinuation of Usage of Personal Information
With respect to requests made by individuals concerning the release, revision, elimination and discontinuation of usage of their personal information, the Company shall check the status of the individual with respect to their right to make such a request and, in the event that there are no legal obstacles involved, shall carry out the request promptly and with no objections.
7. Organization and Infrastructure
The Company shall appoint an administrator responsible for the control of personal information, who shall institute the appropriate controls.
 
The Company shall carry out employee training programs on the proper management of personal information, and make every effort to ensure that personal information is handled appropriately on a daily basis.
8. Establishment, Implementation, Maintenance and Improvement of Personal Information Protection Program
To ensure the proper implementation of this policy, the Company shall draw up a personal information protection program (which shall include the policy outlined in this Statement as well as the "Personal Information Protection Regulations" and other rules and regulations), and make every effort to ensure complete understanding of the program's content among employees and other relevant parties. This program will be implemented, maintained and improved on an ongoing basis.
